Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a fursuit cost?
Prices vary by character design, but a custom commission starts at $3900. Most cost between $4200-$4800, but can be higher for complicated designs or extra parts.
How long do they take to make?
Most costumes takes 100-300+ hours of physical labor to produce.
Can I just get a head or partial?
We accept partial suit and fullsuits, with priority towards fullsuit commissions.
How old do I have to be to order?
You have to be 18 years of age or older to place a custom commission.
What if I’m under 18?
We would need to work with your parent or guardian.
How do I get a quote?
When we are open for commissions, a form will be available on our website to fill out.
Can I get a quote when you are closed?
Quotes are only available when we are open for commissions.
Can I make payments?
Yes, as long as your have a full down payment, and complete payments before the due date.
Can you work off of a description?
No, sorry. We require a character reference sheet. Please see our Concept Art page if you need one.
Will you make an angel dragon, zebra, giraffe hybrid?
Maybe? Not all designs will translate into a costume well. Generally, we accept projects that are easily converted into a costume.
Can I supply my own materials?
No, sorry. We are comfortable using materials that we have personally tested and are experienced working with.
Do you do follow me eyes or movable jaws?
We accept follow me eyes on some designs. We do not offer movable jaws, but our standard jaw does have a little movement to it. Movable jaws can reduce the performers ability to breath.
Can you put in extra zippers?
We only put in one zipper for easily getting in and out of your costume.
Do you make digitigrade legs or other padding?
Do you make plush suits?
We do not offer commissions for plush suits, but sometimes pre-made ones will be available for sale in our online store.
How do you see and breathe while wearing a fursuit?
Vision and breathing is VERY easy while wearing our costumes. Breathing is directly through the mouth of the head and vision is through the eyes.
Can I buy more parts later?
Maybe, depending on if there is matching fabric available. We highly advise ordering everything at once so there is no chance of your matching fabric being no longer available. We do our best to use fabrics that will be available in the future.
What if I plan on growing or gaining/losing weight?
The costume will have a little flexibility on height and weight changes, but if you plan on drastically changing in height or weight, we recommend to wait to place your commission until you have stopped growing or changing weight.
Why did my design not get accepted for a commission?
Our custom commission slots are LIMITED. We accept as many as we can, but can not accept them all. In a typical custom commission opening, 10-20% of quotes are accepted for commissions. Reasons why you were not accepted can be: all slots were already filled for the opening, your form was incomplete or missing information, your ref sheet was too hard to understand, or your design is too complicated to be turned into a costume.
